To draw the curtains on a fantastic year gone by, we at RJ Corp Retail decided to go to Ranthambore for our annual offsite. To wrap up a year in which we didn’t just exist; we-thrived.

Tree Plantation Drive
Disclaimer: This is not a CSR post. It is an appeal to all corporates, team leaders, and professionals.
This year’s brutal heat wave has surely shaken all of us. While most of us escaped the heat in our air-conditioned offices and homes, the heat wave has killed over 100 people, and over 40K heat stroke cases were reported (Economic Times, 20th June’24).
We shudder to think what the future years will bring our way. Our ageing parents, people with comorbidity, and the young are under serious threat going forward. The time has come for all of us to do something about the situation—anything that will help, in whatever small way we can contribute.
We at RJ Corp Retail have decided to take it to the grassroots level and went ahead with a Plantation drive. We chose 2 locations:
a) Modern Sanskriti Govt Girls School, Gurgaon
b) RJ Corp Foundation Green Belt, Gurgaon
Our teams headed out early morning before office hours and went with a motive to plant as many trees as they could (most of them doing it for the first time). It was a fulfilling experience indeed. They, on their own will, have decided to carry on this venture every week till monsoons continue. Since monsoons are the right time for planting trees, the success rate of their survival will be maximum.
